Food Scare

I'm sure by now most of you are well versed with the recent tainted milk scandal. It is really disgusting what some merchants will do just to get more profit irregardless of the consequences to end consumers.
There are so many 'fake' China made products that their products have lost credibility worldwide.

I too have been skeptical about their products and my suspicion is not only limited to China made products. My family has stop consuming products from major brands which have factories or part of its production process in China. IE: Cadbury, Kitkat, Dutch Lady etc. Even made in Malaysia or Singapore products are also in my questionable list as it is not clearly stated that the product is fully manufactured in Malaysia or if their ingredients are 100% made in Malaysia. Even the assurance made by manufacturing companies that their products are free from Malamine doesn't ally my fears as it only makes me feel that these companies have more to hide. Ever since I saw stacking ladies pasting " Made in Malaysia" stickers on Nestle products during a grocery trip to NTUC I have decided to stay away from their products all together.

Now the boys only take made in Australia milk and yoghurt. I have stopped giving them chocolates, sweets and biscuits. I also refrain from purchasing cakes and other bakes from outside and have started to do more bake a greater variety of goodies from my oven to satisfy their cravings.

Anyone for chocolate cake and cookies?
